Evaluating sources (webinar)

This session will be about appraising the quality of information sources that you find and read when you are searching for information. We will look at questions to ask about the currency, relevance, accuracy, purpose, and authorship of a source. We will look at how improving evaluation skills can result in better quality sources to use in your work. Additionally, we’ll explore how the credibility of a source varies based on context and is often dependent on your specific argument.

The link to join the event will be sent in the confirmation email.

This is a generic session designed for multiple attendees.  If you have a particular learning need you may wish to contact the facilitator or your Academic Subject Librarian.
