This Writing Development session about thematic analysis aims to:

• Define thematic analysis and its purpose
• Demonstrate the practicalities involved in conducting reflexive thematic analysis throughout the coding process
• Serve as a straightforward introduction to thematic analysis for the first-time researcher, including some of the terms used in this method
• This session is largely based upon handwritten (i.e. manual) Thematic Analysis using visual aids like post-its, highlighters, mind maps and so forth
