SUMMARY:Learning Essentials 4: Assessment Planning and Feedback (Online)
DESCRIPTION:Session Outline\n\nEffective assignment planning can help you
manage your workload and produce stronger academic work. In this session\,
you'll learn how to break down assignment questions\, structure clear and
focused academic paragraphs using the PEAC framework and make the most of
feedback to improve future assessments. You'll also discover the support
available to help you continue developing your academic skills throughout
your studies.\n\nWho is this session for?\nThe Learning Essentials series
is for students new to higher education (e.g. Foundation Year or Year 1) or
returning to study after a break. These beginner-friendly workshops help
you build confidence\, develop essential study skills\, and learn about
available support before moving on to more specialist guidance from the
library’s learning skills teams. You can attend all four sessions or
choose the ones that suit you. \n\nOnline session:\nThis session will be
delivered online via Microsoft Teams. You’ll receive the link to join in
the confirmation email. When the session is due to start\, click on the
link and sign in using your University student email address and password
(if you are not already logged into Teams). During the session\, you'll be
able to ask questions and take part using the chat and Q&A features\,
making it easy to engage wherever you're studying. For support with
Microsoft Teams please visit UniHelp Guides | University of Lincoln.
