Event box
Session Outline
Effective assignment planning can help you manage your workload and produce stronger academic work. In this session, you'll learn how to break down assignment questions, structure clear and focused academic paragraphs using the PEAC framework and make the most of feedback to improve future assessments. You'll also discover the support available to help you continue developing your academic skills throughout your studies.
Who is this session for?
The Learning Essentials series is for students new to higher education (e.g. Foundation Year or Year 1) or returning to study after a break. These beginner-friendly workshops help you build confidence, develop essential study skills, and learn about available support before moving on to more specialist guidance from the library’s learning skills teams. You can attend all four sessions or choose the ones that suit you.
In-person Session:
This session will take place in UL110 in the main University Library. Please arrive on time. If you can no longer attend, please cancel your booking as soon as possible so your place can be offered to another student.
